Technical Drilling & Blasting Co. LLC (TDB) is an UAE based Company registered under the Commercial License Number 504846 and was formed in 1997. TDB is a group company of Al Fajar Group, Sultanate of Oman. It is the largest manufacturer and supplier of explosives and accessories in Sultanate of Oman and through its associated company “Technical Services & Rock Blasting Co LLC” has made a sizable contribution to the construction industry, particularly for the construction of Roads and Fishery Harbours. Some prestigious projects include Mina Sultan Qaboos, Raysut Port Extensions and the Muscat Expressway.
TDB is also a Company Member of the Institute of Explosives Engineers, U.K. from 15th February 1997.
TDB has its Head Office in Dubai as well offices in Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, Ras-Al-Khaimah, Sharjah and Ajman.
During the nineteen years of TDB’s existence within the UAE, we have achieved and maintained a very high degree of recognition with the Licensing Authorities and also with Local and Federal Police as being the leaders in safe blasting techniques.
We maintain a large fleet of Heavy Duty Hydraulic & Pneumatic Crawler Drill Units including many Explosives Transit Containers with Mechanical backup. Drill and Blast Crews are guided by highly experienced Senior European and Asian licensed blasting personnel.
Our operations are supported by a very efficient office co-ordination to effectively handle explosives transportation, daily blasting operations and post blast reports.
As a specialized end user in the field of explosives, we have made sizeable contribution to the construction industry. This was mainly for the construction of Roads and infrastructure related projects which are now contributing greatly to the UAE’s economy.

TDB’s Fleet:
Technical Drilling & Blasting Co. LLC continues to invest in modern drilling equipment and training to ensure that we remain the leaders in the drilling and blasting industry. At present we have a total of twenty (22) drill rigs located in quarries within the UAE and they drill around 1.5 million drill meters per annum yielding approximately 18 million cubic meters (50 Million Tons) of blasted rock annually. In order to achieve these quantities, we operate and maintain a powerful fleet of self-contained hydraulic drilling rigs.
